In this special episode of the Moving Mountains Hot Seat, host Adrian leads a roundtable of AI experts discussing how business owners can leverage artificial intelligence to scale, automate, and grow.

Artificial Intelligence is everywhere. But for most business owners, the big question remains: How do I actually use it to grow my business?

In this special Hot Seat episode of Moving Mountains, Denali Consulting brought together a panel of AI experts: Dylan Bost, Jackson Calame, Raoul Jaggi, Martin Mikláš, and Ted Albe for a roundtable discussion on building with AI, coaching with it, and most importantly, making money with it.

If you're feeling overwhelmed, skeptical, or just don't know where to start, this episode is for you.

What Are the Experts Building with AI?

The panelists are not just talking about AI they're actively building with it.

  • Dylan Bost (Sunny HQ) builds AI systems using cloud code, from personal assistants to full marketing departments that handle social media, press releases, and email communications.

  • Jackson Calame (The AI Marketplace) focuses on empowering teams to "fail forward" with AI, helping business owners tap into both artificial and authentic intelligence.

  • Raoul Jaggi (AI Growth Partner) builds custom dashboards with AI agent ecosystems, helping business owners increase top-line revenue and improve bottom-line efficiency.

  • Martin Mikláš leverages AI for strategic growth, building internal systems that help clients make better decisions and improve marketing.

  • Theodore Albe (Nova Sky Innovation) architects AI solutions for companies like Ryder Transportation and hospital networks including a RAG system for doctors and nurses to improve patient diagnosis.

Key takeaway: AI is not just for tech companies. These experts are applying it across real estate, healthcare, logistics, marketing, and more.

The Turning Point: From Fancy Google Search to Real Tool

Most people use AI like a glorified search engine asking a question and getting an answer. But the panelists agree: the real power comes when you move past that.

Martin shared a powerful insight: The quality of your AI output depends entirely on the quality of your input. "Garbage in, garbage out," he says. If you write a one-sentence prompt, don't expect a brilliant answer. His tip? Ask the AI, "What information are you missing to give me the best possible answer?" This simple question can transform your results.

Dylan's turning point came when he realized he could process YouTube transcripts to extract key insights. That discovery led him to build full systems that replaced hours of work with minutes.

Jackson shared a story about his team member Leonardo, who started on cold calls and, through cross-training, became the company's AI expert building websites and coding without any formal background. The lesson? Empower your team to explore AI, and they'll surprise you.

Raoul's turning point was when he realized he could build a full website in under three hours using cloud code. Now he demos solutions before meetings, wowing clients by showing them what's possible.

The Biggest Mistakes Business Owners Make with AI

The panelists identified several common pitfalls:

1. Not taking enough action. People get stuck in learning mode and never actually implement.

2. Getting caught up in the hype. There's always a "new" AI tool. Stick to what you know and become an expert in that before adding more.

3. Not seeking education. Jumping in without understanding the tool leads to poor results.

4. Using the wrong tool for the wrong task. Some AI tools are designed for creativity, others for facts. Mixing them up leads to frustration.

5. Not providing enough context. As Martin said, garbage in, garbage out. The more context you give, the better the output.

What Will AI Never Replace?

When asked what AI will never replace in their businesses, the panelists were unanimous:

  • Authenticity. Jackson and Ted both emphasized that genuine human connection cannot be replicated.

  • Human interaction. AI should support, not replace, the human-to-human relationships with customers and partners.

  • Energy. Raoul added that the raw energy and drive of an entrepreneur is something AI can't phase away.

  • Strategic thinking. While AI can provide perfect tips, Martin believes humans still offer better strategic solutions—for now.

And what will AI replace? Repetitive, mind-numbing tasks. Things like:

  • Code reviews

  • Document reviews

  • Data analysis

  • Meeting notes and follow-ups

  • Email drafting

As Ted put it: "What can be done in seconds accurately versus hours and hours."

One Thing to Do Today

The panelists left the audience with actionable advice:

  • Download Claude and just talk to it. Release whatever's on your mind and see where the conversation takes you.

  • Identify what you hate doing. Make a list of tasks you're willing to give up and find an AI tool to automate them.

  • Start where you already are. Use AI for things you already do email writing, meeting prep, scoping projects. You already know what the answer should look like, so you can judge the quality.

  • Try something you haven't tried. Experiment with agentic tools for repetitive weekly tasks.

  • Connect with others. Don't do it alone. Reach out to someone who's already doing it and learn from them.

The Bottom Line

AI is not going anywhere. The technology is evolving faster than ever, and sitting still is not an option. As Adrian summarized: "You need to get started. You need to test."

Whether you're a solopreneur or running a large organization, AI can help you save time, scale faster, and compete with much larger players. The key is to start small, stay curious, and never stop learning.
